Pictures with Stephanie Hamlet

Saturday we took family pictures with Stephanie Hamlet Photography, we drove about an hour south to Peachtree City to meet up with her. Ben took a nap on the way down. We had fun taking pictures, Ben was in a GREAT mood, and I was crossing my fingers that she captured some good ones.

We took pictures by a lake and at a farmers market. After we left the farmers market (with some bread, cookies, and jam) we grabbed some lunch and got on the road back to home. We were almost home when I got a notification that I had been tagged in pictures on Facebook. She had already posted some sneak peek pictures!!

Oh My, as I flipped through them I loved the next one even more. Here are 5 of the 11 photos that she shared with us on Facebook.

I was trying to bribe him to step away from the fence. Not so much.

Here's a link to the rest of the pictures on Facebook: Facebook Album

I can't wait to see the rest when she posts them later this week. Well worth the drive to Peachtree City!!
If you are looking for a family/child photographer in the Atlanta area, check out Stephanie Hamlet Photography. She also does weddings.

Weekend Bits

I know, I've been a slacker and haven't updated in a while. To see pictures from the end of February visit here: http://neubauers.shutterfly.com/
Since we've been home from our trip to Florida we had a surprise visit from Grandpa and Carol.

He's pushing the walker around everywhere and loves to crawl into and sit in his little racetrack.
His school did a Mardi Gras parade and he had a great time pushing his shoebox float around on his walker. He was a champ.
Now on to this past weekend...

Ben had a rough one, he spent quite a bit of time like this... He cut 2 teeth Friday night but I believe there are still more coming.
But he did cheer up for enough time to have a play date with a neighbor's little boy Phillip
Phillip is 6 months old and a cutie. They will have many fun play dates in the future.

Daddy had his first putting lesson with Ben

Weekend Tidbits

Can I say annoying... I typed up this post and somehow all the words disappeared :(

Ben is practicing his walking with his Radio Flyer walker. So CUTE!

Ben got pink eye on Wednesday and started feeling better on Thursday but on friday morning woke up not feeling well he stayed home with Craig and after a while we realized he needed to go back to the doctor. So he went back to find out now he had an ear infection and a little case of brochitis. Poor baby. He has to do breathing treatments a couple of times a day.
Breathing treatments
Happy Valentine's Day!

It is PJ day at school so he got some special jammies for Valentine's Day. Awe.
Reaching to give Mommy a hug!

Weekend Tidbits

I liked the picture of Ben hamming it for the camera so much I left it up there for a couple of weeks.

He was clapping for me ;)
I FINISHED Ben's QUILT! It's so cute and he loves it. My mom drew the pattern, I modified it to be a boy gator and Carol got him the fabric for it and I did the sewing so it was a group effort.

This past weekend Ben has really started to get the hang of pushing around the walker and I also took him for a ride on it around the house. It was very cute. He might be walking by his first birthday CRAZY!

I've started planning his birthday party, I can't believe he is turning 1 next month! I hope to have the invites made this week and sent out by Saturday and I've started collecting a few things for take homes for the kids. Very exciting!

Weekend Tidbits

It's been a couple of weeks since my last update so this edition I will update what we did this past weekend and later this week update on what has been going on the last couple of weeks.

Friday was low key, got home, fed Ben played and he went to bed.

Saturday we hung out with Davis and his parents Josh and Blaire!

We went to dinner at Nuevo Laredo (thanks Blaire for sharing the pictures, I still can't believe I forgot my camera!)

CHEESE!
and then hung out as their house for a little bit...

Moms and their babies
I can't believe they are 10 months old and we are only 2 months away from our baby boys being 1 year! Time to start planning that party!

Weekend Tidbits

Keeping track of him in the cozy cabin was easy

The new cabin!

The cold weather has brought some rosy cheeks, hanging out in his Go-Pod while we eat dinner.

Hanging out in the Man Cave

First Snowman!

With Grandma Carol

We drove for about 45 minutes up into the Smokey Mountains to find snow that hadn't melted from snow fall they had earlier in the week. We found a picnic area.

A waterfall just off the road. One side was still flowing while the other was frozen.

Icicles!

Grandma and Grandpa gave him a bath.

He does sleep!! He fell asleep around 7 that night but of course woke up at 2:30 and wanted to play instead of going back to sleep.
After we left the cabin and drove back to Atlanta this is what the cabin looked like...
Bummed we missed it but maybe another time.
